PEARL JAM at FENWAY PARK
A couple of weeks ago, I spent the weekend in my version of heaven/mecca/nirvana. My favorite band of all time, Pearl Jam, was playing at Fenway Park in Boston (the best baseball park in the country, in my opinion). The outdoor sound, especially for Pearl Jam, just makes it all sound amazing and way better. On Friday night, the energy from the crowd was a bit weird, a lot of people were getting drunk and the vibe was a bit mellower, which I think affected the band. They still put on quite an amazing set, with a few covers throughout the set. And then, Sunday, they put on quite an incredible show with a setlist to rival all past setlists and shows I've seen from them. It was probably my second favorite show of theirs from the past 16 years since I started seeing them live. They played for 3.5 hours and the energy was absolutely incredible!
